Tickets

  • Online purchase is recommended for convenience, cost savings, and queue skipping.
  • Combined Zoo + Aquarium tickets are available; both attractions must be visited on the same day without re-entry.
  • Ticket categories include Adults (16+), Children (4-15), Children (under 4 are free), and Concessions.
  • A voluntary conservation contribution of 0,50 € (day/group) or 2,50 € (annual pass) is included in the price (excluding some concessions) to support wildlife conservation ("BERLIN WORLD WILD" program). This is optional.
  • Concession tickets require valid, personalized proof and a photo ID, checked at the entrance.
  • Children under 12 and visitors requiring permanent supervision must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
  • Severely disabled visitors (under 15) and one accompanying person (with B/H note) receive free admission.

  • Zoo Berlin is open 365 days a year.
  • Operating hours vary seasonally:
    • January 1 - February 22: 9:00 - 16:30 (Last admission: 15:30)
    • February 23 - March 29: 9:00 - 18:00 (Last admission: 17:00)
    • March 30 - September 20: 9:00 - 18:30 (Last admission: 17:00)
    • September 21 - October 25: 9:00 - 18:00 (Last admission: 17:00)
    • October 27 - December 31: 9:00 - 16:30 (Last admission: 15:30)
  • Animal houses and restaurants close 30 minutes before the Zoo.
  • The Zoo closes at 2 PM on December 24.

Important Notes

⚠️ Current construction works at Aquarium Berlin may cause restrictions and potential waiting times.
🚫 Dogs are not permitted in Zoo or Aquarium Berlin, but are welcome at Tierpark Berlin.
