Žákova hora National Nature Reserve, established in 1933, protects a valuable primeval forest in the Vysočina region. An easy 2.6 km educational trail guides visitors through its unique ecosystem, showcasing diverse flora, fauna, and the source of the Svratka River.

📜 Žákova hora National Nature Reserve, located near Cikháj in the Žďárské vrchy, protects a well-preserved primeval forest at 810 meters above sea level. Established in 1933, it is one of the most valuable and oldest protected areas in the Vysočina region, covering nearly 40 hectares.
🔍 A point of the basic trigonometric network of the Czech Republic was established on its peak in 1946.
