💧 Minimum 90 cm at Nemětice gauge for Bohumilice section
💧 Minimum 80 cm at Nemětice gauge for Volyně section

River Sections

Upper (Vimperk - Sudslavice): Width 3-5m, WW II-III, fast current, stones, steps, fallen trees. Recommended for kayaks/self-bailing, experienced paddlers. ~2 hours.
Middle (Sudslavice - Volyně): Width 10-15m, WW II-I, open landscape. Recommended for open canoes, beginners. ~2-3 hours.
Lower (Volyně - Otava): Width 15-20m, ZW (easy), open landscape. Recommended for beginners. ~3 hours.
Scenic section: Vimperk - Bohumilice.
