The Via Ferrata Pastýřská stěna in Děčín is the first city-center via ferrata in the Czech Republic, featuring 16 routes with a 90-meter elevation gain and lengths from 150 to 170 meters. It was opened in April 2014 by climbing legend Karel Bělina.

🌉 Features a 12-meter rope bridge built 60 meters above ground, connecting two rock faces with panoramic views.
👨👩👧👦 The easiest routes are suitable for children aged 10 and up; beginners are welcome but must be accompanied by a qualified instructor.
✈️ Located at the top of the wall is Zoo Děčín, and nearby attractions include Děčín Castle, the Elbe river for boating, and the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. A lookout tower on Pastýřská stěna offers city views.
🚫 Entry is at your own risk and requires a helmet, climbing harness, and a ferrata set; strict prohibition against climbing when the wall is wet (for 24 hours after rain).

🚌 The Děčín train station is approximately a 10-minute walk away. The ferrata entrance is from Labské nábřeží.
