📜 Via ferrata Hausberg is a well-designed climbing area built on the Hausberg rock, featuring three distinct routes spread across three smaller rock formations. It is located above the Stříbrný potok stream near the town of Kraslice.
🔍 The area's dominant feature is a scenic viewpoint, and near the summit, you'll find the ruins of Hausberg Castle (Greslein), dating back to 1272.
☀️ Climbing Routes: Explore three color-coded routes: a blue route (A/B) with technical sections, a black route (C/D) that is shorter and steeper, and a technical red route (C).
🌉 Rope Bridge: Experience the most entertaining section, a challenging rope bridge positioned high above the terrain.
🏞️ Panoramic Views: Enjoy beautiful views of Stříbrná, Kraslický Špičák, and the entire Krušné hory mountain range from the summit viewpoint.
👨👩👧👦 Family-Friendly: The easier routes are suitable for older children accompanied by adults, though caution is advised for shorter individuals on the rope bridge.
✈️ Historical Site: Discover the ruins of Hausberg Castle (Greslein), a historical landmark first mentioned in 1272, located near the ferrata summit.
⚠️ Navigation: The path to the ferrata's start is not yet well-marked; rely on intuition and follow the rock massif and hill summit.
🚫 Equipment Required: Do not underestimate the ferrata; full via ferrata equipment, including a harness, safety set, helmet, and cycling gloves, is strongly recommended.
🚗 Parking: Parking is available near the Evangelical Church or in front of the Municipal Office in Kraslice.
🚶♀️ Approach: From the parking, follow the red tourist trail or the new Loupežníků educational trail. The blue route's start is below the main rock, accessible via a path to the right of the viewpoint. The ferrata is approximately two kilometers from the center of Kraslice.
