Getting There

πŸš— By Car: Drive SS 36 from Lecco to Colico, then towards Sondrio. After Morbegno, take a detour at Ardenno following signs for Val Masino to San Martino.

Hiking

🌲 Main Trail: A wide, well-beaten, relatively flat path suitable for everyone, including families with small children. Takes about 1.5 hours with minimal elevation gain.

🏞️ The trail follows the Mello stream, passing waterfalls and alpine lakes.
⬆️ Beyond the Rasica huts, the path climbs among rocky boulders to the end of the valley, near the Torrone stream bridge and Chiusa waterfall.
⛰️ A steeper path continues through trees to the Alpe Pioda pastures, offering panoramic views.
πŸ”„ For a loop, return to Rasica and cross a small bridge to follow the river from the opposite bank.
