The Maiden Tower's origins are debated, with theories suggesting it dates back to the 12th century or even 600 BC, possibly as a Zoroastrian temple or astronomical observatory. It stands 97 feet tall and 54 feet in diameter at the base. The tower has served multiple functions, including defensive fortification, watchtower, and place of worship, featuring a winding staircase to the top.
