Founded in 1860 by Jan Lexa of Aehrenthal and Leopold Anger, The Bukovina Arboretum is a 2.73 ha collection of over 40 tree species, including 407 protected memorial trees. It is one of Central Europe's oldest sites for introducing foreign woody plants, located on the scenic Golden Trail between Valdštejn and Hrubá Skála castles.
