Tábor Zoo is the largest zoological garden in South Bohemia, focusing on the protection of endangered species and participating in reintroduction programs. It houses over 500 animals from 80 species.

📜 Tábor Zoo, located in Tábor-Větrovy, Czech Republic, is the largest zoological garden in the South Bohemian Region, spanning 10 hectares. It was founded in May 2015, reopening on June 30, 2015, under the ownership of Evžen Korec after a previous organization faced financial issues.
🔍 The zoo saw 111,000 visitors in 2023 and is known for its focus on endangered species and conservation efforts.

Why Go

🦁 Main attraction: Home to over 500 animals from 80 species, with about a quarter classified as endangered, including Siberian tigers, American black bears, Arctic wolves, and White cape lions.
