This fee covers access to the area including the castle tower. # ⏰ Hours 🕒 Open from April to October: 🗓️ Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays: 10:00 - 17:00. Castle ruins are freely accessible year-round via the red tourist trail. Craft workshops and indoor exhibitions are available by appointment or during special events. # 🅿️ Parking Free grassy parking area for approximately 30 cars directly at the center, accessible via an asphalt road. # 🚌 Getting There 🚂 By Train/Bus: Travel to Tábor, then by bus to Mladá Vožice, and finally walk along the red tourist trail. 🚗 By Car: From Mladá Vožice, follow directions towards Kamberk (approx. 1km, turn right into the forest, then 1.5km to the center on an asphalt road) or Vilice (approx. 1km after serpentines, turn left, then 1.5km to the center on a less maintained asphalt road). 🚴‍♀️ By Bike: The center is located on the "Kolem hradu Šelmberk" cycling route. 🚶‍♀️ On Foot: From Mladá Vožice, follow the red tourist trail. # ♿ Accessibility Most outdoor areas are accessible for physically disabled visitors, but surfaces are unpaved (forest paths, grassy areas) and may have significant elevation changes. Not recommended in rainy weather.
