📜 Discover the Seifert Via Ferrata Nové Hamry, a modern complex of four practice routes (A, B, C, D) nestled in the scenic Ore Mountains.
🔍 Ideal for all skill levels, from families and beginners to experienced climbers, offering a safe environment for skill progression.

Why Go

☀️ Four distinct via ferrata routes (A, B, C, D) for varied challenges.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Perfect for families and beginners to learn and progress safely.
🌳 Routes are entirely in the forest and shade, offering a cool experience.
⏱️ Quick to complete, allowing multiple ascents or combining with other activities.

Why Avoid

⛰️ There are no panoramic views from the routes.
📏 The routes are relatively short, which might not satisfy advanced climbers seeking long expeditions.

🧗‍♀️ The Routes

This complex features four routes of increasing difficulty:

  • Trasa A (Very Easy): Partially leads off-rock, with the steel cable primarily for practicing carabiner clipping. Ideal for small children and learning basic movements. (Length: 48m, Climbing Length: 20m, Elevation Gain: 50m)
  • Trasa B (Easier Climbing): Involves rock climbing with a few bolder, yet simple, steps. Both A and B routes allow for early descent if needed.
  • Trasa C (More Challenging): Features longer steps and reaches, with limited escape options (except for one spot). The movement is relatively low above the terrain, starting with a direct vertical ascent.
  • Trasa D (Exposed Start): Begins with steps shared with Trasa C, followed by a traverse to the left and a demanding ascent via a chimney. This route requires utilizing rock footholds and friction, as steel steps are not always present.

⏱️ Practical Info

  • Total Time: All four routes can be completed within 60-90 minutes, including short breaks.
  • Access Time: Approximately 3 minutes walk from the parking area to the ferrata start.
  • Climbing Time: Route A takes about 10 minutes to climb.
  • Descent Time: The descent from the top back to the start takes around 5 minutes via a forest path.
