The main lagoon is for swimming and soaking in 38-40ยฐC water.
Three pools available: main, a hot paddling pool, and a cold plunge pool.
The Secret Lagoon is only 40 cm to 1 meter deep.
Water is 100% naturally supplied, flows continuously, and is completely replaced every 24 hours.

๐Ÿ“œ History

Established in 1891, it is officially the oldest swimming pool in Iceland.
It served as a legislative body site for the Flรบรฐir community until 1894.
The first swimming lessons in Iceland were held here from 1909 to 1947.
After years of oblivion, the lagoon was revitalized in 2005 and happily reopened on June 7, 2014.
