History

🔥 Built on the site of medieval houses destroyed by a 1541 fire.
👑 Originally constructed by Jan IV. Popel of Lobkowicz in 1567.
🎨 Sgraffito decoration added between 1870-1874 by Josef Schulz, with later restorations.
🕰️ Served as Technical Museum, Military Museum, and now National Gallery Prague since 2002.
