Welcome to Mydlák, a fantastic spot in South Bohemia, just a stone's throw from Hluboká nad Vltavou. It's a great place for a natural swim, with both grassy and sandy areas to relax on. The water is known to be clean, though the entrance can be a bit pebbly.
It's a classic Czech summer experience. The campsite offers fully equipped cabins, and there are good spots for swimming. You can also go fishing or use it as a base for cycling trips. The beer is good and there's a coffee machine and even an automatic beer and soda dispenser for guests.
The food at the buffet gets mixed reviews, sometimes described as reheated canteen meals. Some visitors have noted that the toilets can be smelly and the entrance to the water is uncomfortably stony.
There is an entry fee for swimming (around twenty crowns for adults and half for kids, though this may be outdated). Tokens for a hot shower cost extra.
