Rybník Dehtář is the seventh largest pond in the South Bohemian Region and tenth in the Czech Republic, offering excellent opportunities for swimming, water sports, and bird watching. Founded in 1479, it is also a significant European ornithological site and a Natura 2000 protected area.

Entire western part is a temporarily protected area. 🚫 Entry, driving (within 200m of cadastral boundary), fishing, and entering with boats/windsurfs are prohibited. 🗓️ Protection is from July 15th to November 30th.
