Queen Arwa Mosque

One of Yemen’s oldest and most beautiful mosques, named for the historical Queen Arwa buried inside it.

🕌 Historical mosque in Jibla, Yemen, built between 1056 and 1111 CE.
👑 Originally a palace, repurposed by Queen Arwa al-Sulayhi, whose tomb is a pilgrimage site.
Its architecture reflects Fatimid influence, featuring a rectangular base, open courtyard, four corridors, and two ornate minarets.
