📜 Příhrazské skály is an extensive sandstone rock city and natural reserve located within the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area. Declared a Natural Reserve in June 1999, it features unique geological formations and historical remnants.
🔍 Situated south of Příhrazy village, near the famous Drábské světničky, the area is dominated by the basalt peak Mužský and includes the iconic Kobylí hlava rock formation.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Enjoy the 9 km educational trail (Naučná stezka Příhrazskými skalami) with 20 interactive stops for children, starting and ending at Valečov castle ruins. A 6 km circuit also offers a children's playground and mini-zoo at Na Krásné vyhlídce.
✈️ Combine your visit with Drábské světničky (note: currently closed for reconstruction), Krásná vyhlídka, Staré hrady, prehistoric settlement Klamorna, and Valečov castle ruins.

Why Avoid

⚠️ The popular Drábské světničky rock castle is closed for reconstruction until at least 2025.
🚫 Rock climbing is seasonally permitted from April 1st to October 31st, with specific rules: use marked paths, only fixed/textile belay, maintain quiet, no climbing on wet sandstone, report nesting birds, use smooth-soled shoes or climb barefoot, no surface alteration, ascend from below, max 5 climbers per group, no Top Rope, no magnesium, rappel only from permanent anchors, show climbing permit on request.

🅿️ Parking: Parking is available in Příhrazy village or under the ruins of Valečov castle.

Getting There

🚗 Driving directions or parking info: Park in Příhrazy village and follow the blue trail to Příhrazské skály. Alternatively, for the educational trail, park under the ruins of Valečov castle. The shortest route to the rock city from the parking lot is via the steep Příhrazské stairs.
