Přehrada Nechranice is a huge water reservoir located between the towns of Kadaň, Chomutov, and Žatec. It's known for having the largest dam embankment of its kind in Central Europe.
The water is generally clean and warm, making it great for a swim. It's a top spot in the region for water sports, especially yachting, windsurfing, wingfoiling, and kitesurfing. There's also plenty of space for fishing, and you'll find several campsites and refreshment stands around the shore.
The dam was built during the communist era - it can hardly be called pretty
