🚌 Getting There

  • Funicular: Currently out of service.
  • Walking: From Pohořelec (tram 22) via Strahovská or Úvoz streets. From Malostranské náměstí (trams 12, 20, 22) via Tržiště and Vlašská streets. From Újezd (trams 9, 12, 20, 22) up through Seminářská Garden.
  • From Strahov: Walk through the dormitories area and Rose Garden from Koleje Strahov or Stadion Strahov.

♿ Accessibility

The ground floor with the information center is barrier-free. Access to the viewpoint is partially accessible. The lift stops for wheelchair users at a covered viewing terrace at 20m. The walkway at 51m is not wide enough for wheelchairs. Due to narrower lift doors, an electric wheelchair user must transfer to a mechanical wheelchair. A partially accessible toilet requires using a service entrance; a fully accessible public toilet is located nearby.

The permanent exhibition "Petřín: A Place for Walks, Views, and Mining" in the basement explores Petřín Hill's transformations, ancient mining, and the tower's construction and social life at the end of the 19th century.
