  • Alternatively, walk along the asphalt road crossing the Portášky ski slope or take the forest path 'Cesta horských nosičů'.
    🚶‍♂️ From Pec pod Sněžkou:
  • Take the Sněžka - Růžová hora cable car (operates year-round, but does NOT transport bicycles or scooters), then enjoy a comfortable downhill walk on an asphalt path (suitable for strollers).
  • Another option is to walk along the 'old road' (Krakonošova zpovědnice) to Velká Úpa, then use the Portášky chairlift or walk.
  • A direct walking route involves a very steep asphalt path uphill behind Hotel Máj, or the stone path 'Údolím Šramlu' or 'Cesta horských nosičů' (note: these are not suitable for strollers).
