Why Avoid

⚠️ Restricted areas: Climbing is not permitted in the northern part of the Dolní labyrint due to nature protection and safety concerns (bark beetle calamity).
🚫 Strict rules: Adherence to specific sandstone climbing rules is mandatory, including no damaging rock surfaces, no removing vegetation, no use of magnesium, and no disturbing nesting birds.
🚫 Camping restrictions: Official wild camping in the forest is forbidden, though possible for a fee at the designated campsite.

🏄‍♀️ Climbing course: Price available for groups of 4 or more, includes instructor and equipment (except shoes).
🏕️ Campsite: Available for a fee.

🍽️ Food and dining: Buffet at "U Malíka" (campsite), and pubs at the crossroads below Ostaš, in Bukovice, and Žďár.
🩹 First aid: Wooden first aid huts equipped with stretchers and first aid kits are located at several points in the rocks.

Getting There

🚗 Driving: Drive to the village of Ostaš; parking is available. From Police, take the main road to Broumov, then turn left at the crossroads near the pub 1km after Bukovice.
🚌 Public transport:
🚂 Train: From Dědov station (Choceň - Náchod - Meziměstí line), follow the red marked trail around the mountain to the village.
🚍 Bus: Take the frequent Náchod - Broumov line, exit at the Ostaš turn-off, and walk 1km along the red marked trail.
🚶‍♀️ Walking: Approximately 4km from Police.
