📜 Educational trail around Olšina Pond, one of the highest and oldest breeding ponds in the Czech Republic (731m a.s.l., 138 ha, first mentioned 1458). 🔍 The 7.3 km trail was inaccessible for decades in a former military area, opened to public in 2016, offering pristine Šumava nature. 🚶‍♀️ It guides visitors through unique biotopes like wetlands, peat bogs, wet forests, meadows, and pastures, with wooden walkways and info panels.
