The Engordador Nucleus is one of four divisions of the Cantareira State Park, a significant 7,916.52-hectare remnant of the Atlantic Forest located in the São Paulo metropolitan area. Recognized by UNESCO as part of the Green Belt Biosphere Reserve, the park is considered one of the world's largest urban forests, boasting rich biodiversity and offering various trails and attractions.
