The Makov Animal Rescue Station was established in 1993 to help a large number of injured, sick, exhausted, immature, or otherwise handicapped wild animals that come into human hands annually.

💚 Run by a dedicated team and volunteers, including Jiřina Račanová (upkeep, transport, feeding), Mirka Šejnová (children's activities, animal care), Martina and Mirka Šejnovy (feeding, cleaning, records), Karel Pecl (environmental education, bird ringing), Šárka Dvořáková (accountant), Ondra Švec (Myšfest organizer, feed supply), Slávek Kolář and Pavel Průša (long-term volunteers), Luboš Kasa (falconer), and various interns.
