💡 Tip for Experienced Paddlers

A recommended one-day trip is from Suchdol nad Lužnicí to Stráž nad Nežárkou. This route features a beautiful meandering river with willows, high sandy banks, and beaches suitable for swimming. At the river bifurcation (Rozvodí), take the Nová řeka channel on the right. Be prepared for mosquitoes in the Novořecké močály (marshes). The river's current quickens at the confluence with the Nežárka. The trip ends a few kilometers further at the Autocamp U Skalníků in Stráž. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, depending on water levels.
