Lomeček is a former stone quarry that has been transformed into a beloved spot for swimming and diving, famous for its crystal clear water.
It's a great place to cool off and relax on a summer day. You can swim, jump into the water from a wooden platform, or even try scuba diving. The main attraction is a unique underwater observatory, an 8-meter deep glass tunnel that lets you watch fish and the underwater world without getting wet. There's a bar right by the shore serving drinks and food like pizza, sausages, and fries. The atmosphere is very relaxed, often with chill-out music playing, and the area is decorated with sculptures and art. Throughout the summer, Lomeček also hosts concerts and a sculpture symposium.
The entrance fee is 40 CZK for adults and 20 CZK for children. Some visitors note that the food and drinks at the bar can be a bit pricey.
Parking is available a short walk from the quarry.
