• 1st Lake: 🎣 Exclusively reserved for fishing (Category 1), abundant with fish and wild birds.
• 2nd Lake: 🏊‍♀️ Summer paradise for swimming and paddle boarding (supervised in July/August). Fishing authorized outside summer (Category 2).
• 3rd Lake: 🌬️ Dedicated to windsurfing and walking, with an observatory for flora/fauna. Fishing authorized on the northern part (Category 2).
• Hiking: 🚶‍♂️ Follow 'Au fil de l'eau' path north to Arpenaz waterfall (2km, ~30 min walk).

🚫 Rules & Regulations

• 🐾 Animal Access: Prohibited at 1st and 2nd lakes to preserve tranquility, hygiene, and health. Allowed at 3rd lake on leash, but swimming is strictly prohibited; owners must pick up droppings. Animals can use the rustic route on the banks of the Arve (dike) year-round.
• 🔥 Fires: Ground barbecues and ground fires are strictly prohibited on all three lakes.

📜 History

• 🗓️ Created in 1977, their development followed a 1976 meeting between Sallanches and Saint-Martin.
• 🏗️ The area was initially reserved for material extraction for the future white highway, leading to the exposure of two large lakes that were subsequently developed into tourist sites.
