An 11th-century Byzantine church with medieval Serbian history and spectacular views.

📜 11th-century Orthodox church, also known as the Latin Church.
🔍 Located on Metoh Hill, overlooking Niš and Gornji Matejevac.

Built from stone and bricks, its facade is decorated with stone ornaments. The architectural style resembles old Byzantine churches, featuring brick arcades and an ancient Roman tombstone embedded in the wall.
The interior was painted in 1870, including a life-size fresco of Serbian medieval knight Miloš Obilić.
The churchyard serves as a necropolis for prominent Dubrovnik merchants and diplomats.
