The dam is a popular fishing spot, home to various species including brown trout, rainbow trout, brook trout, common carp, tench, gudgeon, and European perch. It is designated as a non-trout water area for sport fishing, with a size of 1.35 ha. Anglers may keep up to 3 common carp per calendar week, except during July and August.
