The trail is designed to be barrier-free and suitable for less physically fit visitors, featuring wooden walkways and sand paths.
The Kladská Nature Trail was opened on September 14, 1977, and the Kladské rašeliny National Nature Reserve was declared in 1933. The Kladská settlement itself was founded in 1875.
The peat bogs host rare forest growth of bog pine, sundews, cotton grasses, cranberries, and crowberries. Look out for spruce, maple, silver fir, and beech trees. Historically, bears, lynx, and wolves lived here.
Visit the Dům přírody Slavkovského lesa (Nature House of Slavkovský les) for multimedia exhibitions. Explore the nearby Kyselé jezero (Acid Lake) and the historic Dlouhá stoka (Long Ditch), a 16th-century technical monument.
