Kapelník is a central and prominent rock tower within the Hruboskalské skalní město (Hruboskalsko Rock Town), a significant sandstone climbing area in the Český Ráj Protected Landscape Area. It is known for its historical climbing routes and challenging ascents. The area is bordered by roads Hrubá skála - Valdštejn and Sedmihorky - Valdštejn, with towers located between Bukovina and Janova vyhlídka. The Údolní stěna Podmokelské věže, one of the highest walls in Český Ráj, rises opposite Kapelník's valley wall.

🚫 Rules or restrictions:
⚠️ Climbing is seasonally permitted from April 1 to October 31, with exceptions for specific rocks.
⚠️ Use only public or marked paths for access and do not damage vegetation.
⚠️ Use only fixed protection and textile belay devices.
⚠️ Maintain quiet, do not climb on wet or damp sandstone, and do not disturb nesting birds.
⚠️ Report nesting birds.
⚠️ Use smooth-soled shoes or climb barefoot.
⚠️ Do not damage or alter the rock surface (e.g., by rope abrasion or chopping), and do not remove plants or vegetation.
⚠️ Ascend routes always from below; maximum 5 climbers per party; do not use Top Rope.
⚠️ Magnesium and other chemical agents are prohibited.
⚠️ Rappel only from permanent anchors.
⚠️ Be prepared to show your climbing permit upon request.
⚠️ It is forbidden to install drilled pitons, expansion bolts, or similar devices.
