Located at the edge of the Jezerní slať raised bog, between the villages of Kvilda and Horská Kvilda, at the watershed between the Otava and Vltava rivers. Access is via a short educational trail (approx. 350m) from a small parking lot.
A small parking lot is available to the left of the road between Kvilda and Horská Kvilda, serving as the starting point for the trail. It has an earthy surface and a designated parking space for wheelchair users.
A mobile toilet is available near the parking lot (may be locked). A completely barrier-free restroom (suitable for mechanical wheelchairs) is available at the IS Kvilda (Information Center Kvilda), about 2 km by road from the parking lot.
🧣 Dress warmly, as the area is known for its low temperatures, often dropping below -30°C in winter.
