Lezecká stěna Horní Bečva
Horní Bečva offers a natural rock climbing area, Plotna, with slab routes (UIAA 3-7). It provides excellent conditions for all skill levels, including courses.

📜 This natural rock climbing area, known as Plotna, is located at a former quarry directly off the I/35 road between Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and Horní Bečva.
🔍 It features slab climbing on friction, similar to the climbing found at Helfštýn.

Why Go

☀️ Offers slab climbing routes on friction.
🧗‍♀️ Routes range from UIAA grade 3 to 7, with lengths exceeding 25 meters.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Provides excellent conditions for both beginner and experienced climbers.
👨‍🏫 Individual climbing courses are available for skill acquisition or improvement.
📚 A climbing guide addendum (PDF) for Moravské skály is available, as well as electronic databases on lezec.cz and ČHS.
💻 Online booking is available for climbing activities and courses.

Why Avoid

⚠️ Exercise increased caution due to the broken rock terrain; always use a protective helmet.
🚫 Do not climb above the rappel points (bolts with maillons) and do not rappel from the upper slope if anyone is below you, due to the risk of falling debris.
⚠️ The condition of the rock may change locally, especially after winter months; if in doubt about the security, do not use it.

Getting There

🚗 From Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, turn left onto a paved road about 500 meters after Dolní Bečva, in a long left turn.
🚗 From Prostřední Bečvy, the turn-off is about 100 meters past the former quarry on the right side of the road.
🅿️ The slab is visible directly from the main road (I/35) at a distance of about 30 meters.

Managed By
