Getting There

🚠 Easily accessible via the funicular railway (FestungsBahn), running every 10 minutes for a one-minute ascent.
🚶‍♀️ Footpath starts next to the funicular, takes about 30 minutes.
🚌 Accessible by train and city trolleybus (lines 1, 3, 5, 6, 25) to Salzburg city center.
📍 Located in the city center on the Mönchsberg; old town is a pedestrian zone, no car access to the fortress.
