Several marked trails lead to the summit from both Czech and Slovak sides.
🔴 Main Recommended Route: 10 km round trip from 'U Kamenné boudy' parking lot (Czech side) via the red trail. Easy forest path.
🟢 Alternative from Strání: Follow the green tourist marker.
🟢 From Strání-Květné: 11.5 km round trip on the green trail.
🔵 From Vápenky: 12 km route on the blue trail, part of the Javořina educational path.

The Holubyho chata (Holuby's Cottage) offers refreshments from a service window.

📜 The hut was initiated by the Czechoslovak Tourists Club, first opened in 1924, rebuilt in 1930 after a fire, and named after Jozef Ľudovít Holuby, a botanist and advocate for Czechoslovak mutuality.

🇨🇿 From Czech side: Main starting point is 'U Kamenné boudy' parking lot (1 hour drive from Zlín). Access road not maintained in winter, can be icy. Alternative parking 5.5 km further down if impassable.
🇸🇰 From Slovak side: Possible to drive all the way up to the parking lot at Holubyho chata.
👶 Trail from 'U Kamenné boudy' not suitable for strollers or smallest children.
⚠️ Access road from Czech side not maintained in winter and can be icy.

Part of the National Nature Reserve Javořina since 1933, protecting original deciduous forests, especially a beech primeval forest.
Since 2008, a 165-hectare area is designated as a primeval forest with no human intervention.
🌸 Rare plants include Alpine sow-thistle, common snowdrop, mezereon, and martagon lily.
🦋 Wildlife includes the Clouded Apollo butterfly, fire salamander, and common raven.
Every year on the last Sunday in July, the summit meadow hosts the traditional Brotherhood Festivals of Slovaks and Czechs.
