History

Originally built over Little Twin Creek on Dayton Pike, moved in 1911 to East Center Street for preservation.
Destroyed by a drunk driver in 1981, then recovered, restored, and designated pedestrian-only.
Formerly listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (1971-1981).
