The Fontaine du Soleil in Nice features Alfred Janniot's 23-foot-tall statue of Apollo, surrounded by five bronze planetary figures. Unveiled in 1956, its nudity and a crown of four horses sparked local outrage, leading to its removal in the 1970s. It was reinstalled in 2011 at Place Masséna.
