Drátník is a prominent rock formation and popular climbing area located on a forested hill within the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area. It features multiple rock towers with diverse climbing routes.
Known as the most visited climbing terrain in the Žďárské vrchy, its name, also Dráteničky, originates from the historical wire-making industry in the Milovy area.
☀️ Rock Climbing: Offers diverse climbing routes on multiple towers, with southern walls reaching 30-35m and northern walls 6-12m. Routes are primarily on steep to vertical western faces.
✈️ Nearby Nature & Recreation: Close to Milovský rybník for swimming and a public campsite for overnight stays. Several cozy pubs are also found nearby.
🚶♀️ Hiking: A red tourist trail runs beneath Drátník's western walls, connecting Sněžné to Devět skal.

🚫 Climbing Restrictions: Written permission from the CHKO administration is required for climbing on unmarked objects, outside permitted periods, using magnesium, replacing/installing anchors, marking rocks/routes, or organizing events. First ascents are forbidden.
