📜 Drábské Rock Castle is a historical rock castle site located in the Bohemian Paradise, featuring approximately 30 rock-hewn rooms and offering stunning panoramic views over the Jizera River valley.
🔍 This former rock fortress, perched on the edge of a sandstone massif, has a rich history spanning over 3000 years, from prehistoric settlements to its use as a fortified stronghold in the 13th century.

🚶♀️ Discover the remains of carved rooms, wooden structures, and bridge constructions.
⚠️ The entire site, including all access paths, is closed until the end of June 2026 due to extensive reconstruction.
🚫 Climbing is strictly forbidden on all rock blocks within the monument.
♿ Access to the rock castle is not possible with strollers or wheelchairs due to stairs and narrow passages.
🏗️ The site is undergoing a significant rescue project by Lesy České republiky (Forests of the Czech Republic) to stabilize damaged sandstone, repair erosion, and build new safe routes for visitors.
👷♀️ New steel-wood walkways, staircases, ramps, and paths will replace direct access on sandstone to prevent further damage.
📅 The reconstruction started in 2025 and is expected to be completed by June 2026, with reopening anticipated before the summer holidays.
