📜 History

Established in 1469 by flooding the Křivec forest.
Abolished, drained, and reforested in 1835, then restored in 1898.
Dam planted with oak trees in 1901, which still stand today.
Gamekeeper's lodge built in 1899, reconstructed in 1995.
Pond desilted in 2002.

🌿 Ecology

Home to protected species such as the vrkoč útlý snail, pond mussels, and various amphibians including the spadefoot toad, tree frog, green toad, and green frog.
Regular management practices like mowing, grazing, desilting, and summer drying are crucial for maintaining its rich biodiversity.
