📜 History & Unique Features

Founded in 1585 by Ladislav st. z Lobkovic, originally named Salm after his wife. The village of Cekov relocated to accommodate the pond. It has been owned by the Colloredo Mannsfeld family since 1879. The pond is the first in a cascade along the Zbirožský potok.

🐟 Fish Farming

Primarily a breeding pond, harvested every two years, typically in November, yielding approximately 3,500 kg of fish.
