Castle Cary Round House
One of the best-preserved examples of an old town lock-up in the country.

📜 Post-medieval lock-up, also known as The Round House, a Scheduled Monument since 1951. 🔍 Erected in 1779, it served as a temporary holding place for offenders, once holding miscreants and drunkards.
