Getting There

🚗 Access by car is regulated, especially in summer and on weekends/holidays; check conditions beforehand.
🚌 Public transport: Metro line 2 towards 'Sainte Marguerite – Dromel' to the 'Rond-Point du Prado' stop, then bus 22 towards 'Baumettes' to its terminus, followed by a 45-60 minute walk.
🚶‍♀️ From the eponymous pass, a hike path leads down to the calanque (approx. 45 min walk).

🏰 'Le Château' restaurant, run by the Rambaldy family since 1948, offers Provencal cuisine.
🗓️ Open from April to October; closed in July and August. Reservations required (phone only).
💳 Credit cards are NOT accepted at 'Le Château'.
🥤 During July and August, a refreshment bar is open 10 am - 6 pm for takeaway snacks, pizzas, sandwiches, and drinks.

🚶‍♀️ Hiking & Climbing

🗺️ Crossed by the GR98 trail, extending from Calanque of Callelongue to Cassis.
⛰️ First large, deep calanque after Callelongue, followed by Calanque de Morgiou.
🧗‍♀️ Numerous climbing areas available on the Morgiou side or towards the Sormiou beak.
⚠️ Massif is arid and stony, unsuitable for wheelchairs and bicycles.

🚤 Boat Trips

⚓ Mini cruises depart from Vieux Port (Marseille Croisières Calanques), lasting 2h15 or 3h15.
🏊‍♀️ Some tours in July/August may offer a 30-minute swim stop off Sugiton.
🛥️ Other companies from Pointe Rouge offer half-day/full-day trips with swimming stops.

🔥 High fire risk in summer (heat and wind) may lead to Calanques National Park closures.
💧 Bring 2 litres of water per person, hiking shoes, hat, sun cream, and sunglasses.
