Cala Macarella is one of Menorca's most beautiful and popular beaches, famous for its calm, crystal-clear water and surrounding pine forests.
Enjoy the incredible views and swim in the transparent water. It's a great spot for snorkeling, and you can even rent a kayak to explore nearby caves. A short 15-minute walk along a scenic path will take you to the even more secluded Cala Macarelleta. There's a beach bar right on the sand for when you get hungry.
The walk from the bus stop or car park is about 15-20 minutes and can be steep, which might be challenging for small children or those with mobility issues. At times, there can be some algae on the shore.
You can get here by taking a 30-45 minute walk from the nearby resort of Cala Galdana. Alternatively, a bus can take you to a car park, from which it's a 15-20 minute walk down to the beach.
