📜 Botanická zahrada při VOŠ a SZeŠ v Táboře, established in 1866, is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Bohemia and the second oldest in the Czech Republic. It cultivates a diverse collection of plants, including native, European, and overseas species, with a focus on economic plants.
🔍 The garden was declared a significant landscape element in 1994 and a cultural monument in 2000. Since 1906, it has been distributing seeds to hundreds of locations worldwide.
☀️ Explore diverse plant collections, including an economic system focused on utility crops, an arboretum with over 4,000 plant species, and three public greenhouses showcasing orchids, carnivorous plants, cacti, and succulents.
🐾 Visit a small corner with handicapped animals, including a fox named Sisi.
