We curate activities, mainly in Czechia, and learn from your feedback to provide tailored recommendations.

- What is Mapnook?  
  Mapnook is your free time guide—the antidote to TikTok. We help you find inspiring activities and events tailored to your interests instead of doomscrolling.
- Where does the content come from?  
  We aggregate data from OpenStreetMap, Overture, web crawls, and user contributions. Human editors source initial data, AI agents aggregate and summarize information, and activities are reviewed by our team and users for accuracy.
- How is Mapnook better than other apps?  
  20,000+ curated activities, personalized recommendations based on your feedback, niche places not found elsewhere, and seasonal/weather-based suggestions coming soon.
- How do I use it?  
  Use 👍 to add activities to your "Want to go" list, 👎 for "Not for me," and mark "Visited" for places you've been. Mapnook learns your preferences over time.
- Currently available in Czechia  
  We're focusing on Czechia now. Let us know if you'd like coverage in another country.
- Is Mapnook free?  
  Yes! Core features are free. Premium features may be added later, but we're committed to keeping core features accessible.
- What about privacy?  
  We don't use tracking cookies. Your data is secure and never sold to third parties. You have full control over what you share.
- Can I contribute?  
  Yes! You can add missing places, submit corrections, and help improve activity listings.
- Are there mobile apps?  
  You can add Mapnook to your home screen for now. Native iOS and Android apps coming soon.
